Blade Brown - Financial Times
This is a strong mixtape and a good succession from Bags and Boxes which would have been hard to top but I feel like Blade did himself justice.
90 Oz is one of the best on there and has a video, my prediction is it will hit 100k views within 1 month but not increase by much after that.
I'm impressed by the quantity too- 21 tracks on a mixtape feels like good value for money.
Benny Banks - Fire In The Booth
Never was a fan of Benny Banks and I thought he was overrated. Listened to (not watched , there's a difference) his fire in the booth on youtube and love it. He's a talented kid and hopefully will be going places. I've got this set on repeat at the moment.
Also respect to Charlie Sloth this Fire in the Booth concept works very well and is a great opportunity for musicians aswell as us fans to get a lengthy, good quality freestyle from artists. It seems to me Sloth has found a niche in the market.
Giggs - Monsta Man and LOYS video comes out 01/05/11
Look over your shoulder should be a success due to the Example feature and I expect this to recieve similar views to Don't go there. It will be interest to see the concept of this video, I feel it should be similar to Slow Songs and should contrast the typical club-style Monsta man video in order to demonstrate Giggs' variety and depth.
Monsta man is short but sweet with an original flow used and a bouncy beat, this would be akin to one of his club songs .
First week views for Monsta Man should be 30k
First week views for LOYS should be 40k
