The official video to the highly anticipated uniquely heartfelt hip hop track 'They Burn Me' was uploaded to Curtis' YouTube channel on Christmas day and was surely destined to millions of deserved views. However, moments later, it appeared that Universal Music Group had ordered it to be taken off the site due to copyright infringements.
This 50 Cent vs Jimmy Iovine/ UMG saga has been rumbling on for a while and nearly hit its climax earlier in the year when 50 threatened to leak one of Dre's tracks after the New Yorker had accused Universal of violating his trust by leaking artwork and other mixtape pieces.
However, it seems fellow rap star Fabolous has been kind enough to publish the video on his channel. Even though the audience it is exposed to has narrowed, it'll have to do... for now...
By the way, we don't normally do this but, shout out to www.craveonline.com - they did a very interesting article on this and similar to us, took a step back and looked at the bigger picture.
